Ingredients

For the cheeseburger:

  • Cheese: 4 slices
  • Hamburger: 4 buns

  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

Instructions:

Prepare the cheeseburger:

  • Divide the ground beef into four equal parts and form patties from them. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties until fully cooked and desired doneness is achieved for about 4-5 minutes on each side. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt.
  • On a grill or pan, split the burger buns and toast them lightly.
  • Add optional condiments like ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise to each bottom bun.
  • Place a lettuce leaf and stack cooked patties with cheese slices on it.
  • Place the top bun over the fillings.

Prepare the fries:

  • Adjust the oven temperature to 425°F or 220°C. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Toss the potato fries with salt, pepper, and olive oil in a bowl.
  • On the prepared baking sheet, spread the fries equally and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
